Install the extension
Download the AgentValet bundle, then drag it into Claude Desktop under Settings, Extensions.

Paste your enrollment code
Claude Desktop asks for an Enrollment code. It’s single use and expires 30 minutes after you get it.

Choose the platform to watch
Fill in the two Observe fields in the same dialog, then type ACCEPT and save.

- Your own API key for that platform. Claude Desktop stores it on your machine and sends it with each call. We never store it.
Ask Claude to call that platform
Each call shows up in your private live feed within a few seconds. The feed link works for 24 hours.

Where your platform key goes during the trial
The trial puts a scoped, revocable identity in front of your agent, then relays its calls through AgentValet so you can watch them land. You bring your own platform key. Claude Desktop stores it on your machine and it travels with each call through our relay, which never stores it.
That’s fine for watching. For real governance, sign up and the key moves into the vault, out of your agent’s reach. From then on your agent only ever holds its own identity, and each call is checked against the access you granted.
The file you download holds no credential, only a one-time code that expires in 30 minutes.
